Welcome to Sedalia Ghosts & Paranormal Investigations!
We are a group of paranormal enthusiasts who have been investigating the paranormal since 2004. We are dedicated to not only finding answers for ourselves through paranormal investigations, but to try and help find answers for any who may be in need of assistance.

Ive Only been a group member for a short time. So far ive really not had any personal paranormal experiences, but the paranormal interests me, so after hearing about this group, I decided to inquire about it, and i'm glad I did, as I am really enjoying it!
I have always been interested in the paranormal. Growing up in a haunted house helped encourage my curiosity.I've actively searched for answers to questions about ghosts since a very early age. Joining this group has allowed me to investigate from a scientific approach that i've found I love. Every ghost story is unique and each investigation is an exciting new adventure.
I am one of the co-founders and the case manager for this group. I have had an interest in the paranormal that stemmed from early personal experiences growing up. This interest came to a head when we moved into our current home, where both myself and my daughters have experienced phenomenon. I reached out to Britt as he was also looking for answers but going about it in a scientific approach. My personal search for answers was validation for myself and my daughters.I've enjoyed coming into contact with others who share this quest and look forward to being able to assist others.
I am an investigator and the facebook administrator for our team. I have been investigating now for well over 15 years.I have been interested in the paranormal for as long as I can remember. I have had experiences when I was younger that I couldn't understand and that just made me more curious. It made me want to find out more of what was going on. Some people thought I was crazy but I needed answers
I am the founder and lead investigator for this team. Because of Covid I am currently a reserve member. I have had an interest in all forms of the paranormal for many years. I was curious about finding answers to the paranormal using scientific methods. I approached David and Cherice about forming this group, and the rest as they say is history. I have had personal experiences involving not only the paranormal but also with UFO's. I am the State Section Director and STAR Team Member for MUFON (Mutual UFO Network).
I am the daughter of the co-founders, David and Cherice. I am one of the sensitives/clairvoyants of the group and I work with spirits everyday. I am the youngest of the group, but I do my best to keep up with the more experienced members of the team. I got into the paranormal due to growing up being contacted by spirits and seeing things I couldn't explain. I look forward to meeting new people and discovering more history. I don't believe in aliens or UFOs, but I do know that there is so much we can't explain. I'm excited to find out about it all.
I am the tech manager and investigator for this team. I have been investigating the paranormal for 18 years now. In that time I have seen and heard many interesting things. I love to use science and technology to investigate the paranormal and try to bring some semblance of understanding for not only myself but to those we assist. What I have experienced over the years has encouraged me to try to advance my own understanding of the paranormal and what exists beyond the mortal realm. Personal experience is what got me started on this paranormal journey and gaining more knowledge and understanding is what keeps me going.
I am a tech assistant and investigator with this team. I have had an interest in the paranormal for awhile now, and I joined this team so that I could learn more and expand my knowledge. With what I have experienced and the skills I have been taught by the senior members of the team, it has encouraged me to continue on this journey.
These 3 photos were taken at an investigation, all three photos were taken within a minute.
This photo was the 2nd photo taken; we have no explanation as to what the mist may have been.
If you look closely at the ladder it appears that the trail cam was shifted while taking the three photos.
This video is somewhat hard to see, but our investigator Lisa was doing an EVP session with her headphones on and at one point her headphones jack gets pulled out of her headphones.
We know...We know......Orbs are dust, right?.....Usually we would agree but in this particular investigation we had a floating orb that seemed to be pulsating and generating its own light, so take a look and see what you think.
This video was taken at an investigation in High Ridge, MO. During the investigation some of our investigators used a flashlight during their EVP Session and got some interesting responses with the flashlight.
This video was also taken at the investigation in High Ridge,MO. The ball was on a flat surface, no air was on in the home, and there was noone in the room when the movement occured.
This video was captured by two of our team members as they explored the 2nd floor of Waverly Hills. The video appears to show a light anomaly in one of the rooms, the team members did not see any light at this moment, and there were no flashlights or other electrical devices that may have caused this.
Please reach out to us through our Contact Page, if you cannot find an answer to your question.
We review all evidence we collect or have been shown, in most instances "orbs" are merely dust particles, droplets of water vapor or mist, lens flares, or other explainable sources. In our research what constitutes a true "orb" is something that generates its own energy. However, each investigation is different, and each piece of evidence is different, so we tend to keep an open mind.
No, we do not and have never charged for an investigation. We do everything out of our own pockets, equipment, travel, hotels, food etc. Expenses are shared equally between the members of the group.
Our group comes from varied backgrounds and upbringing, but we have found for the most part that what brought all of us together as paranormal investigators is a curiosity of the unknown and our own personal experiences throughout our lives.
Residual hauntings are a phenomenon where images, sounds, or apparitions may appear or be heard while being completely unaware of their surroundings. Think of a residual haunting like a film or tape recorder that simply plays at seemingly random intervals and will have no interaction with the environment around them when they occur.
Intelligent hauntings are thought to be phenomenon that can be either a conscious spirit or a form of energy that actively tries to communicate with a living presence or to attempt to get their attention. Theories abound about which is which but those are the major differences we have seen in 20 years of investigating
No, is the easiest answer, however after 20 years in the paranormal field we have found that a lot of what we capture evidence wise on investigations is simply a matter of being in the right place at the right time, a matter of luck, so to speak. The paranormal is not something you can call out on demand, if you could then everyone would be experiencing paranormal phenomenon. We have done investigations where we might come up with nothing for evidence on one visit, then go back to the same location later and come away with several pieces of evidence. The paranormal works just that way, it seems random. And things tend to happen when you least expect them too. We have captured evidence during daytime investigations as well as night, over the years much of the equipment that we use has been developed to be used more at night (such as night vision cameras, k-2's with light scales, etc.) and because most places are empty at night and crowds are less it leads to less audio and video contamination from outside sources, we believe that is why most investigators choose to investigate at night.
No, even with all our experience there are no experts in this field and anyone who says they are, is most likely pulling your leg. The paranormal as far as we know is vast, there is so much that we don't know about what goes on beyond our mortal limits, we probably won't know for sure until we are all spirits as well, but that is why we investigate the paranormal, to attempt to find answers and expand our knowledge of what lies beyond the mortal realm, but in reality, and in regards to the paranormal we really are all still amateurs.
